This is by far one of my favorite weeknight meals! The flavor of this chicken and hot pepper dish is incredible and so delicious! Plus, it can be ready and on the table in 15 minutes! I love to serve it with a side of roasted potatoes and a salad. It has the perfect amount of spice and will have you going back for seconds! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-4 Thin sliced chicken breasts
-Sliced Hot cherry peppers (in jar)
-1/2 cup juice from the jar of hot cherry peppers
-1 tbsp olive oil
-2 tablespoons salted butter
-2 tablespoons white wine
-2 tablespoons chicken broth
-1/2 cup flour
-5 cloves of garlic
-Salt and pepper
Next Step:
-Sprinkle the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
-Then dip both sides of the chicken into the flour. Set aside.
-On the stovetop over med/high heat add the olive oil. Once it is hot sear both sides of the chicken and cook through. You want the chicken to have a nice golden color. When the chicken is just about done, take out and set aside.
-In the same pan reduce the heat to low/medium and add the butter.
-Once melted add the wine. Let the wine simmer for one minute.
-Next, add in the chicken broth, juice from the hot cherry peppers, garlic, and the hot cherry peppers. Let simmer for 1 minute.
-Add the chicken back in and coat both sides in the sauce.
-Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
-Serve and ENJOY!!!
